The Best Neutral Lip Gloss For Auditions
I love putting on a nice red lipstick for auditions, but sometimes a little neutral lip gloss is all you need! I have had many auditions where Casting Directors have told me to wear little to no makeup. They want to see you as you naturally, like a blank canvas. If they want to see you with more makeup for a callback, they will tell you!
Also, if your character is much younger than your age, or if you are playing a character who wouldn’t wear makeup, a nice neutral lip is the way to go! I like lip gloss because it adds shine that looks pretty and professional for any in person or on camera audition.
Here are some of my favorites!
Lottie London

Gloss'd Supercharged Gloss Oil- Drenched (nude)
If you are looking for something more matte, the supercharged gloss is the way to go. I also notice a much fuller lip whenever I'm wearing it! The best part? It's only $5.95! You can find the Gloss'd Supercharged Gloss Oil HERE at Ulta Beauty.

Oil Slick Lip Oil- Extra Cherries or Vanilla Whip
The oil slicks are great if you want extra shine. If you are asked from casting for very little makeup, I would only apply one coat. If you aren't given instructions and are feeling fancy, apply away! You can find the Oil Slick Lip Oil HERE at Ulta Beauty for $6.95.
Ilia Beauty

Balmy Gloss Tinted Lip Oil- Neutral Nude
I love anything from Ilia. Their lip gloss is infused with Hyaluronic Acid and other moisturizing properties that leave your lips feeling extra soft. This shade of nude looks classy and sophisticated! You can find the Balmy Gloss Tinted Lip Oil HERE for $26.
